This is a sequel to It Ends With Us. All the Hoover fans were waiting for this desperately, and so was I.
I had big expectations from this one. It was a good read, but honestly not as fascinating as its prequel.
However, it is not right to compare the two, so overall it was a good read, and a must read sequel to an amazing story. It deals with the story of Lily and her life delicately and practically.

05/02/2023I really enjoyed the book, both of them. What I liked about its prequel the most was that every character, even with their flaws, was never shown in a negative light. They were written in a way that made people understand them and their choices better.
I personally only have this one complaint where Ryle’s character was shown in a very negative light in the sequel. It would have maybe been better if we had his pov in the book too, even if it was just one chapter.
But other than that I really loved the book! And I really enjoyed theo and his one liners!

05/02/2023Hi Muskkaan,
I agree with you! This book has not been able to do justice to Ryle. In the prequel, I believe he was shown as a real life gray character, but this one focussed more on Atlas and Lily, and I wanted to know more about Ryle !

25/02/2024Wonderful read with well sketched out characters. I am definitely part of the Atlas club here so no complaints
