This book is a sequel to Beartown. You would immediately make a run for it then moment you complete Beartown.
Written soo beautifully, you won’t think its another book! It’s just an added extension to its prequel. They will say it’s about hockey, but it’s not.
I have never come across any book written about abuse and how the victims struggle against the society, so beautifully and sensitively. It will provoke you to think about the everyday stuggles of someoe who raises her voice, and how she has to put up a smile for her parents.. it will give you a new perspective all-together.
Can’t talk enough about its beauty. It will make you smile through tears.
